Woronora fished the fourth round of WDFCA charter boat competition on Sunday 6 November we fished North of Stanwell Park the ( A ) Team had a good drift on the flathead and chinamen leatherjacket.
Best bag went to:- Daniel Stares 12.580kg = 138pts John Hewitt 9.740kg = 107pts Ray Stares 8.340kg = 92pts Leith Elphinstone 7.240kg = 79pts Doug Lambert 6.500kg = 72 Dale Gardner 6.400kg = 70pts Barry Johnston 6.100kg = 67pts Harry Thompson 5.220kg = 57pts Glenn Keane 5.000kg = 55pts Total of 67kg of fish = 739pts The ( B ) Team has been hanging in there to keep the charter boat for our Junior's who wish to have a go at charter boat fishing there has been a big effort by Glenn Hunt, Mark Auchterlonie, and Harry Thompson to fill the position's on the boat when our FCA members couldn't make it I hope next year that we will have some junior's to fill some of these positions. FCA News 14th August, 2005
Western Division of the New South Wales Amateur Fishing Club's Association or WDNSWAFCA WDFCA News.
Woronora fished the third round of the WDFCA charter boat comp on 14-8-2005 we fished from the 100 fathom line to the lighthouse off Kurnell with a few stops in between the Plonk hole, Hargraves we also encountered a algae or a smaller type of winter weed all the way out and back the weather was enjoyable the fishing was quiet slow.
The ( A ) team boat had the best of the fishing again although quiet poor compared to the June FCA Comp.
Best fish on the day Harry Thompson with a snapper of 1.660kg in FCA 28.22pts Best bag Harry Thompson with 3.060kg and 43.62pts then Glenn Keane with 2.600 and 28.6pts and John Hewitt 2.3kg and 25.3pts.
The ( A ) team 36 fish over the scales 15.400kg and 176.74pts. The ( B ) team had quiet alot of bad luck with out team captain Glenngroovieledgend,ect,ect,ect Hunt your team just fell apart Glenn!!! you will have to set your personal social life around the fishing calendar as it is clear your team just can't do us without you.
I have put alot of thought into this for a few years and recently it has been bought up at our meetings on the Wednesday nite after the comp's we would like to have our Ladies involved in our WDFCA charter boat comp's we would like to have a Lady or Ladies turn up at the meeting's to represent the Ladies of the club and help with the committee.

Woronora fished the second round
of the WDFCA Charter boat competition on
Sunday the 12th of June the ( A )
Team boat had a great day out with
every one on the boat with their
bag limit of chinaman leatherjacket the
best on the day went to Leith
Elphinstone with 12.720kg of fish and
139.92 points then Harry Thompson with
12.150kg of fish and 133.65 points then
to myself with 11.830kg and 130.13
points over all our team weighed 100kg
of fish and scored 1103.41 points in
the WDFCA comp.
The ( B ) Team with out
their mentor ( TORMENTOR ) Glenngroovielegend, ect, ect,
ect Hunt only five of them remembered
to turn up the best on the day
went to Neil Watson with 10kg of
leatherjacket and 110 points then his
son Kerian Watson junior with 8.650kg
and 95.15 points Mark Auchterlonie with
2.7kg 29.7 points Ryan Mackay junior
with 2.6kg 28.6 points and last with
a big job ahead of him the
Woronora's 30 year old junior runner up
in last years Western Division Charter
boat competition Mr Dean Auchterlonie with
2.34kg and 25.74 points.
B team 26.29kg of fish
and 289.19 points. see you all again
on Sunday 14th AUGUST our next FCA
comp.

FCA News 5th April, 2005
The NSW Interdivisional competition out of Rose Bay was fished on Staurday 2-4-2005 in the 12 man team from Western Division. from Woronora we had. 4 John Hewitt 11 Daniel Stares 12 Ray Stares Out of the four divisions that contested the event 48 fisho's. 1st place Western Division with 597 points. 2nd place South Coast. 3rd place Sydney Metro. 4th place Hastings with 320 points.

We fish 2 charter boat team's in the Western Division Competition our first outing for the year was on 20-3-2005.
A team 41 fish total points 117 Best score Dale Gardner with 33 points
B team 51 fish total points 85 Best score Glenn Hunt with 31 points
Conditions were okay but the fish didn't want to play.

The Western Division presentation night is on 7-5-2005 $20. per adult $10 per child I have booked 12 tickets for the night and we will try to organise the same bus transport as last year if we have enough interest.
